The following terms and conditions reflect a mutual understanding between Traverse Treks Nepal and its clients regarding your tour(s) with us. The confirmation of your trip signifies your full agreement with these terms and conditions. Traverse Treks Nepal values your privacy and commits to keeping all of your personal information confidential.

Acceptance of terms:
When you make a deposit, you accept our terms of service. If you have any questions about any of our policies, please do not hesitate to email us or contact us on WhatsApp.
Trip & booking contract:
Your booking is confirmed and an agreement exists when Traverse Treks Nepal write a confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation email carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Traverse Treks Nepal immediately.
We will also require you to forward a copy of your passport, a passport-sized photo, and full flight details, 8 weeks before your arrival date. This is to permit us to book any flights, transport, trekking or climbing permits, prior to your trek/tour.

We know that life happens, and sometimes plans need to change, so we provide you with some flexibility in our refund of deposits. If in case a trip is cancelled by Traverse Treks Nepal, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund you 100% of the trip deposit you have made.

Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Traverse Treks Nepal clients. Traverse Treks Nepal cannot be held liable for hazards such as mountain sickness or accidents. Your travel insurance generally covers trip cancelation, losses, medical, and evacuation. You will need to include the maximum altitude height the tour will be ascending to. We don’t endorse any particular travel insurance company, but if you need any help or recommendations, feel free to contact us either via email or WhatsApp. Traverse Treks Nepal strongly encourages you to call your insurance company and check specifics before you leave from home. If you are planning for a trekking/climbing trip, the travel insurance policy must cover trekking/climbing activities and maximum altitude.
Use of photos and videos:
Our guide and staff or photographer may take photos and videos during your trip, and we may use those materials to promote our business through our website and social media. Please email us prior to the start of your trip, if your prefer us not to use any photos or videos of you whilst on our trip.
Passports and visas (Nepal):
The following are lengths of visa which can be obtained for tourists, and are available on arrival at the airport in Nepal. Or you can obtain a visa prior to your travel from the Nepal Embassy in your country.
You are also able to complete an online form for your visa application before your arrival. To complete the online form, please go to Nepal Immigration Website. Once you fill out the online form, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode; please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it out again.
Your passport must contain a blank page and needs to have at least 6 months validity on the date you are entering Nepal. Check this as soon as you book your trek.
